Ok it appears Nottingham of all places is hosting the next Mixed Tour.

Price:  We don't like the greedy TD.  That said we're charging £180.  Why?  Because others have done it before us and were perpetuating this nasty trend...and MAINLY because we're raising some much needed funds for players without real jobs to play (and keep playing) high level Ultimate.  The foundation of our future, none other than the Juniors.  We give the highest respect to the Kev Lowes the Gemma Taylors the Catherine Moores the Tom Howards the LDs the Voodoos the Andy Vaughns and the list continues, who have made our junior program stronger than ever thanks to their time and patience.  We're going to try and help contribute now to those Juniors who are hoping to live the dream of representing GB in Southampton and Vancouver by donating proceeds of this Tour to that effort.

Directions:  Leave the motorway at Junction 24 OR Junction 26 and head into Nottingham.  If your GPS system says get off at Junction 25 IGNORE IT.  This junction cannot be used to get into Nottingham due to construction.  The best route is to use google maps to create some directions using the post code above.  If you need more detail then let me know.

Showers:  Always a hot topic...HA ha!  Right so there will be lots of showers at the playing fields.  I think I counted 32 shower heads just for men.  A separate entrance for women and lots of change rooms etc.  There will also be showers at the Moderns Camping.  Ahhh...yes double the showers...double the chance they'll stay hot.  I've been promised hot showers at the fields for all involved.  I've been promised this before hence the backup at the camping.  Enjoy and please report if they aren't warm. 

Camping: YES...this is at the Nottingham Moderns (NG11 7AA) and is available as of Friday night.   It is free.  If you've been to the Copa Cabana then you know where this is.  Again...don't rely on my writing up crappy directions.  Just use multimap or google to get them using the postcode.

Pitch Quality:  Hard to say. It was raining when I was there so it was lovely.  I'll update this when I check again the Friday before.

Food:  We'll have some basic catering in at the pitch and also the killer catering for dinner at the Moderns for those camping.

Weird details:  There will be a cricket match and also some sort of strange game called 'It's a Knockout' going on at the same venue.  It's HUGE so we'll have our own section of pitch.  Just be aware that this means non-Ultimate players will also be using the site are aren't necessarily as trust worthy as frisbee types.
