We understand that sometimes things beyond your control happen and you have to pull out of a tournament. However we also have an obligation to the other teams to make sure that the tournament is full. The system below offers a reasonable balance between the team and the tournament director. If you let the tournament director know that you wish to withdraw from a tournament more than 2 weeks in advance i.e. more than exactly 2 weeks before the first game of the tournament, then you will be entitled to a full refund. After this point you will be deducted 10% of the tournament fee for that day and all subsequent days. If you pull out with less than 5 full days before the first game of the tournament you will not be entitled to a refund. Example The first game of Tournament X is the 21st July at 9am. If team Y pull out before 9am on the 7th of July they will get a complete refund. If team Y pull out between 9am on the 13th July and 9am on the 14th of July then they will get a 30% refund. If team Y pull out after 9am on the 16th July then they will receive no refund. |
