Game 1 - aye aye 2,

we won fairly convincingly but we struggled quite a lot with the wind.

Game 2 - Bears 2,

once again we won pretty convincingly, still struggling with the wind a bit.

Game 3 - BUF 1

were up next and were top seeds in our pool. We allowed them to get away a bit at the start but then put on a bit of a zone that they struggled to deal with. This pegged them back and it became a much closer game from then on in. They put a zone on us which we dealt with fairly well. All in all i think this was one of our better performances of the weekend. i think the score was 11-4 to them but they qualified for div 1 in 2nd ahead of haze. Good stuff!

Game 4 - UBU 1

who we needed to beat to maintain seeding. it was a close game but they just took it quite frustratingly.

Game 5 - Strange blue 3

Which was quite the non contest but all the results on saturday left us with the tasty prospect of a game v Jesters to kick off sunday.

Game 6 - Jesters

Last time we played them we convincingly beat them at winter league. At winter league there was however no wind. It went all the way to the end but they took it by 2 after the cap. A hard fought physical game though. very enjoyable to play.

That left us with one hell of a mountain to climb.

Game 7 - Buf 2,

We beat them 10-0, bagel time! a nice shallow slope at the start of the mountain leading to the metaphorical vertical cliff of Aye-Aye. we were convinced it would be jesters again but apparently Jesters are AYe-Aye's bogey team.

Game 8 - Aye Aye,

A struggle. game with them coming out 15-5 winners and dumping us out of Div 2 reckoning. Another hard fought game, always a pleasure to play against them.

Game 9 - Demons for 9th place.

We beat them very comfortably without too much effort. The last point was the leavers line. Apparently its not all about experience as it took us the best part of 20 minutes to put in an upwinder (well up mild breezer).

So we came 9th, we were aiming for 6th so it was pretty dissapointing but we had some close hard fought games and thats what its all about.

P.S. SSSSSSSSWWWWWWWWIIIIIIINNNNNNNGGGGGGGGG            IIIIIIITTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!
P.P.S (In 2 years time) Back when i played student ultimate the level was a lot higher, we would definitely have won nationals if we had the same team.
