FlyghtClub returned  to the AyeAye Tournament in Norwich.

Flyght Club Team:

Gordon (C), Andy the Cop, Rhys, Dan S-R, TopShop, Ben Lew-Lav, Faiz, Tom Passmore

The scores went like this:
Saturday
FC 8-4 Bears
FC 6-5 Swerve (having been 6-1 and then a 4 point choke!)
FC 5-12 TNT
FC 9-3 Aye Aye 2


Sunday
FC 4-9 Curve
FC 3-10 Gladiators (having been 3-3)
FC 8-7 Bears
FC 10-3 Smells Like Cheese (the first time all weekend our O seemed to flow properly!)


So, Flyght Club finished 13th out of 20 teams.
Special mentions for:
  • Dan S-R's falling over grab about 1" from the floor!
  • Gordon juggling right across our own end-zone followed immediately by a pitch length hammer score!

MVP for the weekend was shared between Rhys and Tom Passmore.  Well done them.

Much respect should go to TNT for:
  • beating us 12-5
  • only just losing to Drinking With Nimble 11-9 (having been 9-9!)
  • and finishing 6th – the highest tournament placing in their history.
